Welcome to the West County High School. At WCHS we strive to provide educational opportunities for all students that will allow them to become positive citizens within society and the ability to achieve fulfillment in their personal lives. We have worked hard as a staff, student body, community and school to build a culture of high expectations within our high school. In so doing, we have received both national and state recognitions over the last few years. We have been recognized by Newsweek magazine as one of America’s Best High Schools and U.S. News and World Report as a Bronze Award School.

We want you to be a contributing part of that future. To our students, we want to remind you that you will have many opportunities to achieve in school, from academics to athletics and school clubs to career tech and college prep studies. We encourage each of you to take advantage of these opportunities to improve yourself and to achieve success throughout life. Most importantly, West County High School is a school for all students. We believe that we can have positive and constructive fun as we learn to be the very best that we can be.

To the parents of our students, please familiarize yourself with the abundance of information on this webpage and actively participate with your school and child in making them successful. Students rank parents as the most influential people in their lives. Challenge your students to set high standards, select courses and school activities which directly help them achieve personal and career goals, work hard to achieve these goals and attend classes daily Embrace the power of your influence and genuinely engage in educational pursuits with your children.

We look forward to partnering with you for a successful year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of assistance at emoyers@wcr4.org or call 573-562-7535 x1.
