Greetings and Welcome to West County High School, the home of the Bulldogs! Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about what is going on here at West County. At WCHS we strive to provide educational opportunities for all students that will allow them to become productive and positive citizens within our society. Our staff continues to work hard to provide a safe, fun, and challenging atmosphere that our students will love to be a part of. We encourage you to be involved in your child’s education as we place a high value on our partnerships with our parents, families, and community.

We invite you to be an active part of helping our students achieve at their full potential. Students rank parents as the most influential people in their lives so challenge your children to set high standards for themselves and to be involved in their school. This will help them achieve their personal and career goals while having a positive experience throughout high school.

Please let us know if we can ever be of any assistance and continue to visit our website for updates throughout the year. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach me at lrawson@wcr4.org or 573-562-7535, Ext 1.

Again, we invite you to be our partners as we look forward to working with families to accomplish great things for our students!

-Mr. Levi Rawson, Principal

Welcome to West County Middle School, home of the BULLDOGS! Our mission is to develop a community of learners who are academically proficient, effective communicators, and responsible citizens. With your help, we can achieve this mission. West County Middle School has a rigorous curriculum is the foundation that will prepare all of our students for future endeavors. To do this, we offer a variety of programs, including academic, athletic, and extracurricular. Also, we provide additional tutoring daily before and after school. It is essential that every learner’s needs are met.

When addressing the needs of every learner, we must provide effective and appropriate support. My staff and I are here to meet your needs and support you in your efforts.

Some of the extracurricular programs we encourage your child to participate in include music, athletics, WCTV, photography, drama, and foods, to name a few. Clubs are also a big part of our educational environment. Some of the clubs we offer to students are Bible Dogs, FCCLA, and Junior Beta. Students who are connected to school will be more likely to care about their education now and in the future.

West County Middle School provides timely feedback to parents and students. Parents and students are encouraged to utilize their individual login to the district student information system. This service offers the most up to date information in regards to grades, lunch charges, and fees. Also available on the districts website are the school’s lunch menu, sports calendar, and a listing of upcoming events for the district. Also, each month, a newsletter will be mailed out that includes a calendar, lunch menus, and a brief note from teachers on what is going on in their respective classes. To be successful the communication must be two ways. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to come in and discuss any problems, concerns, or suggestions. It is best to call in and schedule an appointment to do this, but be assured it will be addressed in a very timely manner.

Again, welcome to West County Middle School. I look forward to meeting you and your child(ren).
-Mr. Adam Hector, Principal
