As we strive to ensure that all schools provide a safe and healthy learning environment for our students, we want to learn more about your experiences as a parent or caretaker of a student in the West County School District.
This letter is an invitation to participate in the School Climate Survey for Parents and Families. The survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your perceptions of the school environment and your personal involvement in school. Your feedback will be very helpful in improving student engagement, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.
Beginning today, February 25, 2021, we invite all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete the School Climate Survey for Parents and Families. Your responses are completely anonymous, and your name or personally identifiable information will not be collected.
As you respond to each survey item, please think about your own personal experiences as a parent, caregiver, or guardian at your child’s school. By participating in this survey, you will provide valuable insights that we can use to improve the climate and culture in our schools. Each school will use the survey results to develop strategies, procedures, and/or programs to enhance our school climate.
If you have children at multiple schools, you may complete a survey for each school, or you may choose the school where you would most like to share your opinion. You can take the survey online using the link (listed below). Please complete your survey response by March 4, 2021.
Thank you for your time, and we appreciate your support in helping us ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
